The Wildkeeper sits at the center of her own wilderness, keeping watch over it rather than being swallowed by it. An owl perches at her shoulder, its feathers echoing the same warm tones as her skin. It stands watch with her over the wild, keeping guard. Dark mushrooms cluster in the underbrush behind her, and their smaller kin bloom again across her chest in ink, tracing quietly beneath the surface the way roots do underground.
 
Magnolias crown her hair, evidence of a long, patient belonging to this place. Her gaze is level and unhurried, the look of someone who has stopped asking the forest for permission and started answering for it instead.

The Wildkeeper speaks to a kind of growth that has settled into stewardship, where a woman's connection to the natural world matures from becoming into belonging, and then into guardianship. She isn't just rooted in the wild anymore. She keeps it.
