Artist Statement:
Aaron is a Portland-based artist and illustrator who blurs the line between mind and matter. From a young age, he was encouraged to make art as a form of self-discovery. Today, art is his native language, which he uses to translate thoughts and feelings into color and form. He has worked extensively with traditional mediums such as acrylic, watercolor, and gouache, and digital mediums such as Procreate, Photoshop, and Illustrator, and finds the two disciplines complementary. He works both as a gallery painter and as an illustrator for clients. He holds a BFA from Kendall College of Art and Design.
