Andrea Morris is a nature photographer with a love for the flora,
fauna, and fungi of the Pacific Northwest. Her artistic practice includes
exploring Oregon to capture the small moments that occur on the trails,
along the rivers, and on the coast. Through the use of a macro or telephoto
lens, she specializes in finding the deep color contrasts, bold colors, and sharp
textures that occur within habitats. Throughout her work, you will find
overarching themes of comfort, mindfulness, and respite.

In 2025, Andrea was the winner of the Oregon Wild Photography Contest for
the “Zoomed In” category. Andrea was also a grant recipient from the
Regional Arts and Cultural Council for her collection focusing on a macro
photography perspective of organisms in Portland Parks. Her work can be
found in Powell’s Books, the High Desert Museum gift shop, the Oregon
Historical Society gift shop, the Nines Hotel, and more.
