Portland-based mixed media artist Michele Suchland creates sculptural and assemblage works that reflect on environmental, societal, and psychological themes. After many years as a representational painter, she shifted her focus to more dimensional forms, embracing materials and textures that deepen her storytelling.

Michele is an award-winning artist who has exhibited both locally and nationally. She is currently the executive director of the International Gallery of Contemporary Art in Anchorage, Alaska.
