In this new body of work, Kaline Carter transforms familiar structures, homes, storefronts, and everyday architectural details into vibrant compositions of geometry, color, and rhythm. Working between representation and abstraction, he reimagines lines, windows, wood, shadows, and facades through bold color and unexpected patterns, exploring the relationship between structure, place, memory, and identity. By looking closely at the familiar, Kaline invites us to slow down and see the Pacific Northwest differently, revealing the beauty and geometry hidden within the places we call home.
